MINI has recreated George Harrison's 1960s Mini Cooper to be auctioned for charity

And these two sixties icons came together in 1966 when the Beatles manager, Brian Epstein, presented each of the Fab Four with a Mini Cooper S – as a thank-you for making him a wealthy man! With the big MINI United Festival looming ( May 22nd-24th at Silverstone ) MINI has re-created one of those original Minis to be auctioned in aid of charity.
Italian manufacturer Pagani has put together a 14-minute documentary tracking the development of its new Huayra supercar. Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 106,000 units of its first-generation Prius hybrid vehicle to fix a power steering problem that can make the car difficult to turn. About 52,000 of the cars were sold in the United States and 48,000 in Japan, Toyota said.
